Join us
Our research group at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence in Munich is offering several opportunities to join our team.
Open Positions:
- Postdoctoral Fellows: Lead molecular biology projects investigating transcriptional and chromatin regulation in neuronal development. Projects involve advanced techniques such as CRISPR perturbation, ChIP-seq, and proteomics.
- PhD Students: Conduct research into the molecular mechanisms driving neural diversity using state-of-the-art genomic and molecular biology methods. We are part of two international graduate schools: the Graduate School of Systemic Neuroscience and the International Max Planck Research School.
- Research Technicians: Support wet lab experiments, including tissue processing, sequencing library preparation, and advanced molecular biology protocols.
- Master’s Students / Erasmus+ Students / HiWi Positions: We offer opportunities for Master’s thesis projects, Erasmus+ internships, and HiWi positions.
Highlighted Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Master’s student, Erasmus+ intern, or HiWi to assist in a gene perturbation study of GABAergic neuron fate acquisition in human brain organoids. For more details, please refer to the position posting.
Important Note:
Please note that we are currently not accepting applications for short-term internships.
