Current job opening  Lab Technician (m/f/d) – Position Available Immediately

Our lab at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence (Campus Martinsried) is seeking a Lab Technician (m/f/d) to support research on the genetic and epigenomic regulation of GABAergic neurons in the context of autism spectrum disorders. This two-year, project-based position is available immediately.

Responsibilities include molecular and cell biology techniques such as genotyping, Western blot, and 2D/3D cell culture, along with general laboratory support.

Other open positions:

  • Postdoctoral Fellows: Lead molecular biology projects investigating transcriptional and chromatin regulation in neuronal development. Projects involve advanced techniques such as CRISPR perturbation, ChIP-seq, and proteomics.
  • PhD Students: Conduct research into the molecular mechanisms driving neural diversity using state-of-the-art genomic and molecular biology methods. We are part of two international graduate schools: the Graduate School of Systemic Neuroscience and the International Max Planck Research School.
  • Research Technicians: Support wet lab experiments, including tissue processing, sequencing library preparation, and advanced molecular biology protocols.
